Until a few years ago, here’s what
you had to do if you wanted to buy a high-performance hunting
rifle. You had to buy a rifle of a reasonably good brand and
send it out to different gunsmiths for an action-job, a
trigger-job, custom bedding, re-crowning and any other work that
would improve the rifle and its accuracy. The long time required
for all this often matched the high cost. With the Tikka T3,
these times are happily over. We have done all this work for
you, without asking you to wait or pay for it.
The Tikka T3 Hunter features a glass-smooth action, a crisp,
adjustable trigger, match-grade cold-hammer-forged barrel and a
perfect mating between stock and metal. How does it shoot?
Better than any “custom project:” no Tikka T3 is even put on our
shipping dock unless it groups within 1 inch at 100 meters (110
yards).
The Tikka T3 Hunter is the flagship
model of the T3 concept. It sports a traditional blue finish and
walnut stock with the distinctive T3 checkering pattern.

While the T3 is designed to appeal
to the traditionalist with its satin-finished walnut stock, the
T3 Lite uses a lightweight injection-molded synthetic stock that
reduces weight a full 7 ounces. You’ll notice the difference
after a long day in the mountains! Giugiaro Design gave the T3
Lite a stock that combines classic and modern designs in a
harmonious and functional layout that is both handsome and
fast-handling. Synthetic stocks are the choice of hunters who
must face tough weather conditions.

If our standard-barrel T3
hunting models already produce target-grade accuracy,
imagine the kind of groups you can shoot with our
heavy-barrel varmint line. These rifles incorporate the
features important to shooters who demand the kind of hyper
accuracy required for serious varmint hunting and bench-rest
shooting.
The free-floating clold-hammerforged barrel has a true
varmint-style “bull” contour for maximum rigidity and
absolute performance. As with all Tikka T3 rifles, the
muzzle crown is concave and hand-turned – a custom feature
that will enhance the performance of your rifle by
protecting the lands and grooves from anything that may come
into contact with the muzzle. The high-impact polymer stock
features a beavertail fore-end so that you may place it
solidly and comfortably on your bench-top rest or sandbag
during your varmint-shooting sessions. The trigger is a
dream. It is adjustable from 2 to 4 pounds, and it its crisp
and creep-free travel makes it perfect for precision
shooting. |

This rifle was engineered
for the demanding and precise tasks of the law
enforcement professional. It features a 20" barrel with
non-reflective black phosphate finish, a synthetic
varmint-style stock with adjustable cheekpiece and a
5-round, drop-free detachable magazine. The top of the
action comes complete with Picatinny-style rail,
designed to fit most types of optic bases and
accessories. Also, the rifle comes ready to accept many
accessories such as a muzzle-brake and a bipod. Like all
Sako and Tikka rifles, this rifle does not leave the
factory in Finland without shooting a 1" group or
smaller at 100 yards, making it an ideal tool for the
law enforcement and civilian market alike.
